J.T. THOMAS III
A graduate of West Virginia University and more recently The University of Miami’s School of Business, JT3’s career in business would start before his NFL debut with urban lifestyle brand Ready Ready. Now operating as a boutique marketing agency, JT3 credits the inaugural company as his basis of expertise in small business development.
Proper introduction to the NFL would follow his rookie season, forcing a fumble on the opening kickoff of the 2012 season with the Chicago Bears, the team who drafted him in the 6th round. In 2013, final cuts would send JT3 to the Jacksonville Jaguars just in time to block a punt on opening week. In 2014 he would go on to have his most impressive season as a pro totaling 83tkl’s, 2 Int’s, 1 FF, and his first career TD while earning his role as a starter for 8 weeks.
His timely performance prompted a hard to come by second contract with the New York Giants in 2015. JT3 notes the Stay Ready mentality and his faith in God as the main drivers of this defining moment in his career. He would soon need them both as adversity would present itself in the form of multiple season ending injuries while in New York.
Now a near 10 year NFL veteran, JT3 has developed a signature mentality to withstand the unpredictable nature of professional sports and business. Stay Ready, a constant growthmentality , now serves as the ultimate guide for leadership training & development.
JT3’s most proud of establishing non-profit, the JT Thomas Foundation, in his hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Fl empowering South Florida’s youth through education, leadership, and safety amongst youth sports.
He resides on the intracoastal in Boynton Beach, Fl with his fiancé and french bulldog.
